Police are investigating after a loud explosion was heard on a Manchesterstreet.
Officers and firefighters were scrambled to Victoria Avenue East in Blackley after an 'industrial firework' was set off outside a home on Saturday afternoon.
A spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said crews fromBlackley attended the scene at around 2.50pm following reports from residents of a loud noise outside a home.

Forensics teams were seen scouring the scene - and a Tactical Aid Unit was deployed.
Officers were also seen searching nearby bins.
Speaking about the explosion, one resident, who asked not to be named, said: "All I heard was a big bang.
"I came outside too see what was going on and the garden was just full of smoke."
Police said a man was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and remains in police custody for questioning.
